-THE ROLE-
The HPL in Business Management will be required to teach and/or lead a range of modules in Business Management. We particularly welcome applicants who have expertise and can teach one or more of the following subjects: Marketing, Human Resources Management, Strategic Management, Project Management, International Business, Digital Skills, and Data Handling & Business Intelligence. Applicants with exceptional expertise and teaching interests in other subject areas of Business Management are also encouraged to apply. We also have a particular need for Dissertation Supervisors at all levels.
Main duties will include:
• Deliver teaching, learning and assessments, as well as provide support to students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
• Deliver student-centric teaching and develop assessment materials in a variety of contexts using appropriate and engaging teaching and learning styles
• Be involved in the design and development of high-quality teaching and learning material
• Supervise the work of students in a timely, professional and supportive manner, providing necessary advice on study skills, research methods, assessment and dissertation work.
• Offer appropriate feedback, support, and encouragement to students to ensure a high-quality student experience.
- REQUIREMENTS -
You should have:
• A postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline
• Experience of working in UK HE
• Experience in teaching, delivery, assessment, and student support at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in relevant subject areas, with evidence of good student feedback
• Experience in the design and development of module content and leading modules
• Experience supervising postgraduate and/or undergraduate Dissertation students
• Evidence of good organisational and personal management skills
• Evidence of excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in teams
• IT proficiency and experience of using e-resources
• Evidence of the ability to balance competing pressures of teaching, scholarship, research, administrative demands, and deadlines
• Demonstrable commitment to equality and diversity in working practices

This role has flexible hours across the week. Hours are allocated prior to each term based on the HPL's availability and the Campus's timetabling needs. Please specify if you can teach during Weekdays or Weekends.
