- THE ROLE –
The Service Desk Analyst’s role is to provide a single point of contact for end users to receive IT support within the Universities managed desktop environment. An essential part of the role is to log requests and incidents via the IT Service Desk system and provide end-user assistance (in person, by telephone, or via e-mail) in a timely and accurate fashion.

The role will be based on the IT Service Desk on our SA1 campus providing 1st and 2nd line IT & VLE support to students and staff, but may also involve installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading local PC hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance when required. The post holder will be expected to work effectively and proactively without supervision, as well as provide appropriate support and guidance to junior members of the team.

Annual leave entitlement is 28 days’, plus 8 bank holidays and 4 University closure days.
