We are now looking primarily for a Senior Lecturer in Law to lead our team on a full time, permanent basis working 37 hours per week. Interested early career academics may be appointed as a Lecturer in Law.

- THE ROLE –

The Senior Lecturer in Law will be located within the Institute of Management and Health. You will be under the line management of the Academic Director and will be expected to take operational direction of a Programme (or Programmes) of Study at undergraduate and / or postgraduate level.
At Senior Lecturer level, you will be primarily concerned with learning and teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, and contributing to the Law programmes which fall the Swansea Law School, which are underpinned by a professional focus on Law and monitoring and evaluation of the programme(s), including offering academic leadership, support and guidance to a limited number of staff. You will be expected to manage the programmes, contribute to teaching and learning related to Law, although will also contribute to the wider Law and Criminology portfolio.
Candidates wishing to be considered at Lecturer level will devise a range of teaching and assessment materials, covering several modules and subject areas within the broad areas of Law. You will deliver teaching in a variety of different learning environments and use a variety of teaching styles and approaches, including all levels of undergraduate study and, where appropriate, postgraduate study. You will offer both academic and pastoral feedback and support to students to the highest professional standards and with regard to the ongoing enhancement of the student experience.
