-THE ROLE-

The post of Senior Lecturer in Computing will be located within the IICL. The post-holder will be under the line management of the Academic Director and will be expected to contribute to programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate level across the discipline and wider Institute (where appropriate).
The post holder will be expected to undertake scholarship, research, training or project work, either individually or within a team, to support the Campus and to enhance the profile of the wider Institute and University. The postholder will also be required to develop internal and external collaborative relationships and to contribute to programme developments, teaching and assessment related (but not exclusively) to Computing and subject areas within Computing including, Artificial Intelligence Analytics, Networking, Cybersecurity and Ethical Hacking, Enterprise Network Security and Digital Forensics. They may be required to lead on modules and programmes. The post holder will offer both academic and pastoral support and feedback to a diverse range of learners to the highest professional standards and with regard to the ongoing enhancement of the student experience.

The post holder will make a positive contribution to the day-to-day activities of the campus that may cover areas such as research supervision, student recruitment, marketing activities, research seminars and workshops, staff training and professional development.
