- THE ROLE –
The post of Lecturer in Counselling will be located within the Academic Discipline of Psychology and Counselling. The post-holder will be under the line management of the Academic Director but will be expected to contribute to programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate level across the discipline (and wider Institute where appropriate).

The primary role of the post holder will be to devise and deliver a range of teaching and assessment materials covering several counselling modules, and to contribute to programme development and assessment. The post holder will offer both academic and pastoral feedback and support to a diverse range of learners to the highest professional standards and with regard to the ongoing enhancement of the student experience. The postholder will make a positive contribution to the day-to-day activities of the Academic Discipline that may cover areas such as research supervision, student recruitment, marketing activities, research seminars and workshops, staff training and professional development.
