This is an exciting new role in a dedicated new Wellbeing team and as the Head of Student Well-Being you will help to create and lead this important new unit. The Student Wellbeing unit will provide holistic health and well-being support for our diverse student body, across our various campus locations. You will be responsible for managing a range of support services across mental health, well-being, housing and police and community liaison. You will also have responsibility as the principle Safeguarding Officer for the University.


You will have experience as a manager in a relevant context, with a professional understanding of Higher Education sector regulations and Safeguarding practice. You will have had previous experience of working with mental health professionals and in supporting individuals requiring mental health care. You will be motivated by service improvement and focused on student experience and the delivery of high quality services.


- Annual leave entitlement is 35 days’ annual leave per year, plus 8 bank holidays and 4 University closure days
